On September 11, 2021, we will commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and its impact on the Tri-Faith story through an exploration of identity that celebrates religious pluralism as an asset.
Please join us for this evening of reflection and hope. We will gather on the Tri-Faith Commons as a community to honor memories and mourning, to share stories that celebrate identity, and to explore how the events and aftermath of 9/11 shifted our faith, as well as the history of the world.
Featuring reflections from:
- Vic Gutman, Temple Israel
- Rebecca Morello, Countryside Community Church
- Norhan Basma, American Muslim Institute
Attendees are invited to share the name of a loved one who lost their lives on 9/11, due to a 9/11-related health condition, or as a result of the backlash against Muslims, and those perceived to be Muslim, during registration. These names will be shared during the Unity in Hope event.
