Abrahamic Religions in Dialogue (ARiD)
Abrahamic Religions in Dialogue (ARiD) is a course series about the facts – historical, theological, ritual, and sociological – concerning Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, analyzing their inter-relationships historically and in our contemporary world. Each course builds upon the next, focusing on different components of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
ARiD has been designed, developed, and implemented in collaboration with the faculty of University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Religious Studies Department and staff of the Tri-Faith Initiative, in consultation with the Clergy Committee of the Tri-Faith Initiative.
Each ARiD course incorporates diverse perspectives, facilitates fruitful dialogue, and supports meaningful learning that advances interfaith relationships and understanding.
