Each of the four entities has an option to buy land at Sterling Ridge, a new development planned on the site of the former Ironwood Country Club, bounded on two sides by 132nd and Pacific Streets.
The three faith groups have made plans to use the same architect to give the four buildings visual and design elements in common while preserving the distinct aspects of each faith group. The Board is currently involved in a long-range planning process to define the programs and space needs for the interfaith center. Each faith group individually will conduct its own planning process for its house of worship.
The architects for the Tri-Faith development are Finegold Alexander & Associates of Boston.
